Our absorbents are made by Sinta-D, a nonwovens group in Ukraine, in business since 2006 and running its own spunbond and meltblown lines. Sorbloft is their partner and exclusive distributor for the United Kingdom and the European Union.

Nil duty, EU and UK

Zero into the EU under the upgraded DCFTA, in force since October 2025, and zero into the UK to March 2029. Preference is claimed against the EUR.1 movement certificate accompanying every consignment. Against Asian supply that is a 6.3% saving before freight is counted.

Unbranded, so it can be yours

Sleeves ship plain. Apply your own label, or sell it as it comes. Printed sleeves can be run to order — set-up is quoted separately and paid up front.

04 / Measured performance

Capacity measured after the drip.

We publish the oil retained after a 30-second drain, the period the standard sets for diesel, and we name the method. Absorbency can also be quoted on the weight lifted straight out of the fluid, before it stops dripping — a legitimate figure, and a larger one. The two are not comparable. Whoever you are comparing, ask which is quoted and over what drain period.

Every figure we publish comes from this procedure, on production material, with the dry and wet weights recorded. Ask for them and we send them.

Why

Oil is held in the voids between fibres, not by the fibres themselves. Pack a sleeve tighter and you add material while removing the space that does the work; leave it too loose and the sleeve does not fill out. Our 355 g is set at that balance.

How an order works.

We are a mill and its distributor, not a warehouse reselling a catalogue. That shapes a first order, so here it is in full before you ask.

Samples

Samples are held in our UK warehouse. Free, carriage paid, no obligation. Say which formats you want and they go out the same week.

Trade pricing

Price depends on quantity — volume discounts apply. Ask and you get a figure the same day, delivered to your warehouse.

Order unit

From 5 000 pieces. A full trailer is about 15 000 socks — the load cubes out long before it reaches weight — and carries the best price. Mixed loads of socks and pillows are fine.

Six weeks, then four

Six weeks for a first order, four weeks for every order after it. Add two to four days by road into the EU, five to seven to the UK.

Delivered, duty paid at nil

Direct from the mill to your door. EUR.1 movement certificate accompanies every consignment, nil duty into the UK and the EU against it.

If something is wrong

Weigh it and tell us. Anything below the guaranteed minimum on the data sheet is replaced or credited, your choice, and we want the measurements so we can fix the cause.
